Originally established in 2017, Jana Kapital is the 1st Peer-to-Peer (P2P) online Islamic fintech company that facilitates an alternative form of financing for Micro SMEs in Brunei Darussalam through funds collected from the community (investing public), or in what is now globally known as crowdfunding.

Jana Kapital was established at the onset of various economic challenges facing the tiny nation, chief of which is the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, persistent unemployment issues among the youth populations, the increasing need to expand the MSMEs sector and Brunei Darussalam's continuing push to realise its economic diversification strategy;
Insyaa Allah, we are ready to take on these challenges distinctively through fintech (short for finance and technology), thanks to the rise of digital economy and the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) globally;
We are Jana Kapital. We are a pioneering online crowdfunding platform focusing on the MSME - the first of its kind in Brunei. The MSMEs and investors are our partners. We host eligible MSME for their business financing needs, and pool financial resources from our investor base in the platform. Financings are structured in accordance with the Syariah principles.
